Where's Danny? (2022) follows reporter Barbara Standard, whose investigations are fuelled by gossip and rumour the often disparaged means through which queer histories are preserved and retold. Drawing on the 1986 The Sun headline 'GAY SANTA GETS SACK' and its appearance in a painting by Derek Jarman, the film attempts to uncover what really happened to Danny Ford, the actor reportedly dismissed from his role as Santa Claus at the historic Keddies department store.
